A Documentary: LoveTrue

We know that psychodrama may be applied to many fields of interest, both clinical and non-clinical. We now can add another endeavor: enhancing direction in documentary films. Filmmaker and director Alma Har’el has elicited the help of psychodramatists as consultants in her documentaries, and has recently completed another one in which I worked with her and the protagonists. The film “Lovetrue” was presented at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York and will be soon distributed to the general public. The film examines close and intimate relationships of three couples/families. I worked with the crew in New York City and Kaya Kade assisted in Alaska. For Alma Har’el’s award winning documentary “Bombay Beach” Jeffrey Yates was the psychodrama consultant.
